WEEKEND ADOPTION EVENTS:
SATURDAY, FEB. 21 from 12-3PM: PET ADOPTION EVENT at the MERRIAM PETSMART located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart!

SATURDAY, FEB. 21 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at PETSMART in Olathe (119th & Strang Line) with Heart of America Humane Society. We’ll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!

His name says it all! Mr. Smiley is a happy, loving, friendly guy! He loves people and he's very affectionate. Mr. Smiley likes toys and will carry his favorite all around. He is 2 years old and he weighs 66 lbs. If you're looking for a fun loving affectionate boy who's full of smiles and sure to bring one to your face, Mr. Smiley may be your guy.



ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
