DESCRIPTION
Luca is the kind of dog who seems determined to turn every outing into a full-contact friendship experience. Staff described him happily shoving his face into them for attention the entire walk to the truck, and honestly, that pretty much sums him up. He is a big personality wrapped in wiggly enthusiasm, complete with loose body wags, cuddle requests, and the kind of energy that says, “What are we doing next and can I come too?” Luca already knows a few cues like sit, stay, and lay down, rides nicely in the car, and seems happiest when he is out exploring the world alongside his people.
Luca will thrive with an adopter who appreciates an active, playful dog and can help him channel all that excitement into fun adventures and continued training. He can get a little over-the-top when he is excited, which just means he approaches life with the enthusiasm of a dog who thinks every day is the best day ever. Beneath all that energy is a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be close to his people and soak up attention. Someone out there is going to absolutely adore this goofy, loving boy, and Luca is more than ready to return that love tenfold.
Adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you.
