DESCRIPTION
Makas’ story didn’t start the way any dog’s should. When we picked him up as a stray, he had multiple large gashes on his throat. While we can’t say for certain what happened, we fear it may have been at the hands of a person. Despite everything he went through, Makas never let it harden his heart.
With lots of TLC, veterinary care, and plenty of gentle love, his wounds have healed beautifully and are almost completely closed. And the most incredible part? You would truly never guess this boy had been hurt. Makas absolutely adores people. His tail wags, his eyes light up, and he leans right in for affection like he’s been loved his whole life.
He loves hanging out with his humans, going for walks, and of course — enjoying a good treat (or two). He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, soaking up attention and giving it right back.
Makas is now officially at his adoptable point and ready for a fresh start. He’s looking for a home that will show him what kindness, patience, and true love feel like every single day. This time, he deserves to be treated right.
If you’re ready to give a resilient, loving boy the happy ending he’s been waiting for, Makas is ready to meet you.
