**Can go to my forever home on 7/23**
Hi, I'm Dylan! I'm a 10-week-old bully mix with a mystery family tree. My DNA results are still pending, but my foster mom is convinced I'm actually a purebred **meatball**... and honestly, I can't argue with that!
I'm already tipping the scales at a whopping 21 pounds, so I'm going to be one big, handsome boy. I'm delightfully chunky, wonderfully squishy, and apparently impossible to resist. I also have the most beautiful blue eyes! Every time my foster mom sees me, she starts making funny squeaky noises, so I think that means I'm extra cute!
While I do get the occasional case of the puppy zoomies, I'm mostly a laid-back guy. I'd much rather waddle around, hang out with my people, or settle in for a good nap than spend all day causing chaos.
I'm being fostered with my two sisters, and they're definitely the brave ones. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me long to realize you're a friend. Once I do, you'll have a loyal little shadow by your side.
I absolutely love other dogs, especially my foster brother. I'm a pretty submissive pup and am perfectly happy letting everyone else be the boss. Once I know we're friends, though, I'm always ready for a game of chase or some puppy wrestling. I guess growing up with two sisters taught me to pick my battles!
At bedtime, I'm a superstar and sleep through the night. I'm also making great progress with potty training-as long as you remember to take me out often, I'm happy to keep learning.
If you've been searching for a sweet, squishy, beefy best friend with a heart just as big as his paws, I might be your perfect match. Submit an application to meet me-I can't wait to find my forever family!
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
