This gentle girl had a very rough start to life. She gave birth to her puppies in a cold shelter, and heartbreakingly, her babies were euthanized due to shelter capacity limitations. Mayflower herself was scheduled to be euthanized as well....until a kind-hearted person stepped up at the very last moment to foster her and give her a chance.

When Mayflower left the shelter, she was extremely malnourished, and she's still on her journey to gaining weight and strength. Through it all, she has remained loving, trusting, and eager for affection, showing just how incredible her spirit truly is.
