Verity came to us as an urgent rescue — one of those dogs you just know deserves a chance, even when time is running out. And somehow, despite her bright eyes and bigger‑than‑life heart, she kept getting overlooked again and again. We still can’t figure out why.
Because Verity is incredible.
Barely a year old, she’s in that magical stage where she still has all the goofy, joyful puppy energy... but she’s also growing up, learning fast, and showing everyone just how special she is. She’s smart, she’s affectionate, she’s eager to please, and she lights up every room she walks into.
There’s nothing “overlookable” about this girl.
She’s the kind of dog who makes you smile without trying.

VERITY'S ADOPTION FEE IS $100The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.

Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in. Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!

Originating from Germany, these dogs are renowned for their intelligence, making them excellent guard and working dogs. Rottweilers are known for their distinctive black and tan markings, along with their calm and confident temperament. With proper training and socialization, they can be affectionate companions and effective protectors, embodying the qualities of courage, strength, and loyalty.
