fragile, underweight, and unsure of the world around her.

Her foster mom didn’t give up on her—not for a second.

In those early days, Phoenix was so delicate her body couldn’t handle full meals.
Her foster set alarms every 2 hours, hand feeding her small amounts just to help her survive.

That’s what love looks like.
