My name is Poppy! I’m a 4 month old female Pit mix with a whole lot of personality and even more wiggles. My mom had me and my siblings while living as strays, but a Good Samaritan took us in, kept us safe, and helped us get ready for our forever homes.

My foster mom describes me as curious, outgoing, and the official Zoomie Queen of the litter. I love to explore every nook and cranny, check out new things, and then celebrate my discoveries with a burst of zoomies. I’m playful, silly, and full of puppy spunk—but also incredibly loving and always excited to be around my people. Since I’m still so young, I’m super adaptable and can thrive in just about any home—whether it includes kids, other pets, or if I get to be your one and only adventure buddy.

*Disclaimer: Poppy is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
