DESCRIPTION

A living cartoon, a pocket-sized piglet in disguise, and the CEO of Squish… Peggy Princess is here to absolutely steal the show. With her wildly expressive face (seriously, it should come with a warning label), her full-body waddle, and her larger-than-life personality, Peggy Princess can make you laugh just by existing.

She’ll sit down like a baked potato with opinions, snort at absolutely nothing, and then look at you like you’re the weird one… or just to make sure you’re watching the next adorable thing she does. Let’s be honest, everything she does is stinking cute. Even the way she breathes LOL. She snorts. Constantly joyfully with a little sass behind each one. Every step is a snuffle. Every nap is a symphony of tiny oinks. Peggy is equal parts living stuffed animal and animated cartoon. She’s adorable, hilariously extra, and pure main character energy.

Watch her video and fall in love with this adorable squishy piggy: https://youtu.be/pWlOPWn4zWw?si=T_ShYVatvMAJgzNO

Peggy Princess is believed to be a Bully mix, approximately 4 years old, and currently weighs 50 lbs. Don’t let her pictures fool you though, she’s a tiny girl with little legs paired with a big, big heart. You might notice one of her legs is a little crooked. Instead of a curly pig tail, she’s got a little crooked leg that just adds to her charm. No need to worry though, she was born this way and born perfect in our eyes. Peggy runs, jumps, and plays just like any other pup. Her little leg never slows her down, and it definitely doesn’t stop her from joining in on fun. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.

One thing we do know (and what you’re going to be completely obsessed with) is her bubbly, hilarious personality and of course, those iconic grumbles and snorts. Peggy is pure entertainment. The kind of dog your friends and family will come over specifically to see. She will be the main topic of conversation, the highlight of every gathering, and the reason your phone storage is constantly full. Your camera roll? Completely taken over by Peggy.

Peggy is dog friendly and currently fostered with other dogs. She’s not overly playful with them and is more of a “happy to coexist, do my own thing, and soak up attention from my humans” kind of girl. When she does play, it’s a gentle, bouncy style, nothing too rowdy or over-the-top. She would do well with a laid-back dog who enjoys companionship without constant roughhousing. That said, she would also be perfectly happy as you're one-and-only, soaking up all the love herself. She doesn’t need another dog to shine, this girl brings her own spotlight everywhere she goes.

Peggy would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can sunbathe, explore, and keep you company while you garden. She also has potential to do well in an apartment with elevator access or on the first floor. She has a nicely balanced, medium energy level and doesn’t need a ton of exercise. A nice stroll around the block is plenty for her. Honestly, she’ll tire herself out just wiggling around, going into full pretzel mode, or engaging in a silly, lighthearted mouthy game with you.
She’s great at entertaining herself too. Whether that’s chewing on a toy or already snoozing away with the cutest little piggy snores. We can absolutely see her as your lazy Sunday snuggle bug and your Saturday morning garden buddy. She truly is the best of both worlds.

Imagine coming home to Peggy’s bright smile greeting you at the door, her little paws ready to follow you from room to room, and her warm, loving presence beside you as you go about your day. She’s a dog who will fill your home with joy, affection, and the kind of love only a tiny, happy-hearted dog like Peggy can give. If you’ve been searching for a dog with personality, humor, charm, and just the right amount of ridiculous… Peggy Princess is your girl.

We are willing to test Peggy Princess with anything you need in order to ensure it's perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
