What we know...

It's been 12 years of being someone's dog... and now no one's.

She has a name. She has a story.

She was someone's baby once — loved, raised, had papers, had a person.

She belonged to a young autistic man on the street. He got her as a baby, raised her, loved her. But he left the US... and Henny was left behind.

The neighbors promised to take care of her.

And in a way... they did. Food bowls filled. Water put out.

Don't get us wrong — she's not a skinny girl.

She has been fed. But no one ever opened their door and said, “you're mine.”

So Henny learned to survive.

She wandered the same streets every day.

She never left the area... because it's the only home she's ever known.

She would lay in front of houses, find shady spots to rest, and when someone walked by — she'd happily walk beside them....

This was a dog who never got to go home.

She became... a “community dog.”

The kind everyone loves... but no one claims.

Now she's with us.

Safe... but not forever.

To the community that knows her... Did you love her? Were you one of the ones who fed her? Are you willing to give her a real home inside? It took someone new moving into the area to notice... and want something better for her.

Now is the moment to step up for her.

Because she doesn't belong in a facility.
