DESCRIPTION
Cinnamon (A141542) is a 10-month-old American Bulldog mix who weighed 46.3 pounds on intake! 03/22/26 After a short adoption Cinnamon is back at the shelter, due to her breed being resitrcited from the rented property. If you can confirm that your home allows a Cinnamon girl, please give the shelter a call! 03/19/26 This is Miss Cinnamon! Cinnamon was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was traveling more frequently and unable to care for her. In a home setting she was said to do well with children, strangers, and adults. While at the shelter we have found Cinnamon to have some stranger danger. However, she has been responding well to treats! We encourage her next owner spend some time on the Fear Free Shelter website to see ways to best help Cinnamon succeed! Cinnamon was also said to do well with other dogs and cats. Ensuring you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions is important. Cinnamon is a very smart girl and already knows quite a few commands! She is also kennel-trained and housebroken (will ring the doggy doorbell when she needs to go outside). Cinnamon is looking for a home that can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. If you are interested in meeting Cinnamon, please let us know!
ABOUT: AMERICAN BULLDOG DOG BREED
The American Bulldog is a powerful and athletic breed known for its strong build and confident demeanor. They are loyal, courageous, and make excellent family companions due to their affectionate nature. With proper training and socialization, American Bulldogs can thrive in various environments, from active outdoor lifestyles to relaxed indoor settings. Their distinctive appearance and protective instincts make them prized as both working dogs and beloved pets for those who appreciate their bold yet gentle temperament.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
