Meet Fred Farkle, a 4-month-old Bulldog/ Hound mix, weighing 17 pounds (as of 3/5/26). This resilient boy and his sister, Frankie, were found by a local high school and never claimed. They're ready to graduate from strays to New England pets!

Fred is outgoing, spunky and ready for a new home preferrably with someone who'll give him all the treats in the world. This boy survived high school! He needs some kind of "congratulations!" Fred is a pup who's always on the move. He has too much to do and see!! Don't you want to find out where that strange noise in your house is coming from? It's not a squirrel, he can tell you that!

Fred is great with other dogs, loves kiddos and hasn't met any cats but if they have a taste for adventure, he hopes they can join his explorations. While Fred has experience with crates, he'll still need puppy training (leashing, commands, and potty). But never fear! This boy should catch on quick since he's been using a doggy door but also look at his ears! He'll be listening to everything you say, even when you insult your father-in-law under your breath.

Fred is fixed and ready to head out on the town! Adopt him today!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Fred Farkle, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
