Hello there! My name is Yuna. I am a beautiful, 8.5-year-old, 53-pound, Malamute/Shepherd mix gal, and I am looking for a loving forever family. I was found on the road by a kind lady in July of 2025. I had been hit by a car and was injured. It turned out I had a broken pelvis. Rescue One found out that I had been a companion animal for an elderly woman, and had been rehomed when my owner passed away. Over the past several months, my pelvis has healed (mostly) although not perfectly, so I will need pain medication and joint supplements for the rest of my life. I am a dream dog - calm, quiet, gentle, and easy. I am house trained and crate trained, and I do well on a leash. I get along with other dogs, but would be perfectly fine as an only dog. I haven't met any cats, but can be cat tested if needed. I don't care much for car rides, but I really love to be with my people - on the sofa, sleeping on the bed, just next to my people wherever they are. My ideal forever home would be with a retired person, couple, or family with older kids that are home most of the time. Grow old with me and I promise, the best is yet to be! My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
