DESCRIPTION
Prince Polo is a 4-year-old male Malamute who came to us as an owner surrender when his previous family was unable to care for him. True to his breed, he’s a very sweet, goofy, and happy boy with lots of personality and charm. Prince Polo loves being around people and brings that classic Malamute smile wherever he goes. He would do best with a female dog of a similar breed or as an only dog in the home. Breed experience would be a big plus to help him thrive. If you’re looking for a big, lovable goof to join your family, Prince Polo might be your guy!
ABOUT: ALASKAN MALAMUTE DOG BREED
The Alaskan Malamute is a powerful and dignified Arctic sled dog known for its strength, endurance, and friendly demeanor. Renowned for its wolf like appearance, this breed sports a dense double coat, erect ears, and a plumed tail. Originating from Alaska, these loyal and affectionate dogs thrive in cold climates and enjoy staying active. With a history deeply rooted in sledding and hauling heavy loads, the Alaskan Malamute is a devoted companion suitable for experienced owners who can meet their exercise and training needs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
