Description: Wookiee is a very smart, handsome, healthy and lovable boy. He loves all humans and likes to greet everyone with kisses. Wookie is a mixed breed, but one of those breeds is likely Akita. He is 60 lbs. Wookiee is a great walker, is house trained and is also crate trained. Wookiee loves to play and also loves his toys. He knows the basic commands including sit and down. Wookiee is approximately 1 year to 1 and 1/2 years old so he can be a stubborn at times, but since being fostered he has been regularly seeing a Trainer and improves by the day. As with most dogs he is treat motivated. Wookie loves hanging out with his foster family and sleeps through the night with them in the bedroom on the hardwood floor or rug.

Wookiee has a beautiful, fluffy and soft double coat that everyone loves when petting him, but with that comes the need for professional grooming and frequent brushing. He is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations and is a very healthy boy. Wookie would do best with older children that respect a dogs space. Wookiee does very well in a doggy daycare facility when playing with other dogs. A neighborhood to walk would also be good as he requires a moderate amount of exercise. Wookie's foster parents are located in Apex.
