What my friends at OHS say about me: I am very cute but have proven myself to be quite the exuberant pup!
I am easily overstimulated, which means I can get mouthy and worked up. I will need positive outlets for my energy and a calm environment. Taking a training class will help us bond and help me become a model canine citizen. To prepare for your meet and greet, please take a moment to learn more about puppy ownership here!

ABOUT: AKITA DOG BREED

The Akita is a powerful and dignified dog breed originating from Japan, known for its loyalty, intelligence, and independent nature. They have a distinctive curled tail, erect ears, and a dense double coat that comes in various colors. Akitas are renowned for their strong protective instincts, making them excellent guard dogs. However, they require firm training and socialization to manage their dominant tendencies. With the right guidance and care, Akitas can be loving, devoted companions for experienced dog owners.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
