Meet Blue Jay Oiseau, a 4.5-month-old Airedale/Heeler mix, who weighs 20 pounds (as of 3/2/26). He and his siblings are from the OISEAU litter ("Oiseau" means "bird" in French.) These fancy pups were born in Tennessee from a stray mom and we suspect they're also a mix of Australian Shepherd/Beauceron/Black and Tan Coonhound and plenty other things! The pups might not be birds, but they're a lot cuddlier and look forward to teaching you more French words like "omelette" and "soufflé" (Hey, they didn't say they were good at it!)
Blue Jay is so full of playful energy and charm, your days will be never be blue again. He’s social, affectionate, and always up for an adventure with his favorite people. Whether it’s chasing a ball, following you around the house, or singing R&B during karaoke, Blue Jay wants to be part of the action. He hopes you both can do a duet! He’s a friendly pup who bonds quickly and will thrive in a home that keeps him engaged and loved, so get those karaoke mics ready to go!
The Oiseau pups will charm the socks off other dogs and kiddos. They haven't met cats yet, but if they see them, they'll probably want to play! They're looking for a patient and loving family that will help them with puppy training as they're still learning to walk on a leash (they get nervous), obedience and potty training. They're a super friendly bunch that would be great in any home!
This boy's for the birds! Adopt Blue Jay today!
