Courtney showed up in a neighborhood during the winter storms at the beginning of 2026. She was timid at first but was eventually trapped for TNR. The vet found that Courtney had recently had babies, but wasn’t actively lactating. Considering the harsh conditions, and with Courtney being a kitten herself, the vet is certain she lost her babies in the cold. She’s lucky to have made it through herself. During recovery, Courtney seemed nervous, but never aggressive. After a couple of days, she had turned a corner and she attached to her foster mom like Velcro. She hasn’t stopped since. She loves other cats, lap time snuggles with her foster parents, and has a wonderful purr and biscuit making skills. She is looking for an emotional support family to help her see all the amazing things a forever kitty can have. Are you looking for a clingy, needy, affectionate companion? Courtney is your girl!
