Tuxedo Cats Available for Adoption

HERE'S THEIR STORY:
Bandit and his daughter Shortbread were originally indoor cats that were put outside when their owners moved (during Covid). Fortunately, Bob, a good Samaritan saw them and started feeding them and taking care of them, preparing shelters for them, making sure they had food, water and shelter, and they were as safe as possible. He could not take them into his home as he had several cats who would not be friendly to them.

The cats were at his place of employment, so he was there every day and also went on the weekends just to make sure Bandit and Shortbread would have regular meals. Bob even heated up their food in the winter so the cats wouldn't eat cold food!

Fast forward to now..... His place of employment notified Bob that he would need to remove these 2 cats because the building was being sold.
Bob contacted the Deland Cat Cafe, who contacted Cat 6 Purricane Rescue to ask if we could take in this father and daughter. OF COURSE WE WILL!!!

ABOUT BANDIT: Unbelievable friendly!!
Bandit is about 8, as per the vet. He has been fully vetted and chipped. Snap Test- FIV/FELV/ Heartworm NEG.

ABOUT SHORTBREAD: She is about 6 years old. She is scared, hisses, but I am able to pet her. She is NOT aggressive- just scared. She is bonded to her dad Bandit and often is cuddled into him. I continue to work with her. FIV/FELV/Heartworm POSITIVE> She is FIV POSITIVE.


They need to go together and need to be kept indoors. They are both box trained and have good appetites. They like Friskies pate fish over chicken and eat TEMPTATIONS DRY FOOD.

According to Bob, Shortbread was very friendly with him. She would rub on his legs while he was feeding them and he was able to pet her with no issues.

I have Bob's contact info and he has offered to discuss these cats with any potential adopter.

These 2 cats just need a safe home in which to live out their lives. There is NO ADOPTION FEE.. I JUST REQUIRE AN APPLICATION, AND A HOME CHECK. I have their medical records.
