This young man, who is one and a half years old, hasn’t had the easiest start. From what we’ve learned, his previous people felt he was too shy and made the decision to give him up. Sadly, stories like Benji’s are ones we hear far too often—sometimes life changes, and cats are the ones who lose their homes.
But here’s what we see in Benji: a gentle, loving soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. Beneath that shy exterior is a true love bug waiting to blossom in the right environment.
We believe Benji may do best in a quieter home where he can be the center of attention, though we’ll continue to work with him to see how he does with calm, welcoming feline friends.
Benji deserves patience, understanding, and a family who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace. And when he does—we have no doubt he’ll show just how special he really is 🐾💛
