Meet Maybelline – Born June 2021

Maybe she’s born with it… YES, she was! Maybelline has a congenital condition called entropion that caused her eyelids to curve inward, leading to years of pain while she lived in a feral colony. After successful corrective surgery, she’s now pain-free and sporting her adorable signature winky look that adds to her charm.
Despite her tough past, Maybelline is one of the sweetest, most loving cats around. When help arrived, she walked right into the carrier and embraced the good life with endless gratitude. Her foster family calls her “the easiest cat, ever” — calm, quiet, and incredibly affectionate.

She spends much of her day napping peacefully, but open a can of wet food and she’s all yours: rubbing against you, demanding pets and head scratches, and following you everywhere. She meows softly only to politely request more attention (complete with gentle paw taps!). Now healed, she’s starting to play — batting balls at night — but she’s never loud or disruptive.

Maybelline is a true lap cat who curls up at the end of the bed, snuggles during TV time, and ends every evening tucked in your lap. She loves dark, cozy spots like the back of closets and will head-butt her way under your arm for closeness. She’s not shy with strangers, often preferring men first but equally affectionate with women, and she has no issues with scratching, biting, counter-surfing, or making messes. She’d do great with children or other cats.

A few quirks: She’s picky about food (no freeze-dried treats or churros), and sensitive to strong smells (may skip pets right after scented soap). But overall, she’s calm, low-maintenance, and thrives on physical affection.
