**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Puffin came from a large colony of cats, and must have a friendly, gentle cat in her forever home to be her life coach and best friend.

Meet Puffin!

Puffin’s story began at a recycling plant, where she was recently rescued and given the chance at a new life. From the moment she arrived in foster care, it was clear that this sweet girl had so much love to give.

Almost right away, Puffin started making biscuits and purring — her way of showing how happy she was to finally be safe. She was curious about the other cats and quickly showed that she enjoys their company.

Puffin has great litter box habits and a healthy appetite for both wet and dry food. She is a very sweet young cat who is already learning how wonderful indoor life can be. Even though she hasn’t been inside for long, she’s showing just how grateful she is to be warm, safe, and cared for.

She enjoys playtime and is especially interested in cat tunnels, laser pointers, and feather toys. Puffin also allows her foster to pet her and continues to grow more comfortable and confident every day.

Because she enjoys feline companionship, Puffin will need a home with another friendly cat who can help her continue to blossom.

Puffin has the sweetest personality and the perfect attitude. Now she’s just waiting for a loving forever home where she can enjoy a lifetime of comfort, play, and cuddles.

T Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, first-round of age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption, flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
