Sister Christine has a very SPECIAL story. When she was younger and actually just about to get adopted, she came down with FIP. In the past there was no cure for FIP and cats usually had to be put to sleep when the disease progressed. During COVID 19 a cure for FIP was discovered in Europe when scientists were researching Remdesivir for humans. The treatment is lengthy and costly, but Sister Christine is one of the growing number of survivors!
