This handsome young man landed at ACCT Philly after his owner sadly passed away. While at the shelter, he developed a nasty upper respiratory infection and began showing neurological symptoms shortly after his neuter, and because of those concerns, he was time-stamped.
We knew we had to run to help him.
After multiple vet visits and watching his daily life, one thing became clear. Blaise wasn’t declining… he was thriving.
Testing confirmed what we suspected: Blaise was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH).
And honestly? Nobody told Blaise he’s different.
He wobbles through the house like he owns it.
He climbs the cat tree (yes, really).
He zooms through tunnels.
He plays with other kitties.
He snuggles in bed.
And he “honks” at his foster family all day long, demanding to be picked up and loved.
He may not always be graceful… but he is endlessly joyful and absolutely hilarious to watch.
Blaise is 2-3 years old, incredibly affectionate, fully vetted, self-sufficient, and LOVES attention and conversation. His CH does not slow him down; it just makes him extra special.
Now all he needs is a family who will see him the way we do… perfect.
Could you be Blaise’s hero?
