Do you like bear hugs? If so, Howie is the cat for you! This gentle giant is a sweetheart who just wants to love you forever and ever. He will use his persuasive meow to lure you over and then just stare at you until you pick him up. Once you get this tabby guy in your arms, he will immediately wrap his paws around your neck and won’t want to let you. We understand that your arms may get tired, but Howie will insist that you just sit down so he can occupy your lap instead. Given his sweet demeanor, it’s no surprise you can pet or brush him all over and give him lots of kisses, if you’d like. We know he would! This fellow has a playful side, too. He enjoys all kinds of toys, especially textured ones, and will chase after them to show off his agility. While he will occupy himself, he especially wants you involved in his activities or at least watching him.
Howie would prefer to be your only male cat, he tends to prefer female cats. Howie is fine with respectful children. We do not know how he would respond to dogs. With proper introduction, given his calm demeanor, he may be OK.
