Meet Spaghetti along with his likely brother Meatball who with many other cats were in a home, allowed to breed uncontrollably, and when the elderly owner died, no one to care for the cats. These indoor cats were forced out of the home into the outside with no shelter, food, water, etc. A terribly sad situation. Trappers were able to trap these two and some others, with others whereabouts still unknown.
Spaghetti's tale, fortunately for him, has taken a positive turn with being trapped and then made ready for adoption. Spaghetti is very sweet but a bit timid right now. He has been through a lot, being abandoned, food insecurity, multiple moves. He is adjusting to his new temporary home and is finding comfort in a corner of the room near a bed. He is open to slow, gentle pets but is still acclimating and trying to believe his ordeal is over. He is the type of kitty who with some time, patience, and gentle love will come around and will soon show his lovable tender self.
Spaghetti will need an adopter willing to give him a small space at first to adjust and then time and encouragement. He would likely do best in a quieter, routine home with a single adopter or couple. A family with older respectful kids could be a possibility. He could be part of a calm, friendly multi-cat home as he seems to not mind having roomies.
Spaghetti has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Spaghetti has an approximate birthdate of 01/20/2025. His adoption fee is $95.
