Meet Parmesan, a good looking young buff tabby who along with many other cats were in a home, allowed to breed uncontrollably, and when the elderly owner died, no one to care for the cats. These indoor cats were forced out of the home into the outside with no shelter, food, water, etc. A terribly sad situation. Trappers were able to trap many cats and 10 of them have made their way to Second Chance.
Parmesan is a bit skittish at the moment. Daily he is becoming more trusting of people. The way to his heart is with a Churu where he will allow pets and play. Parmesan is very playful and loves to chase balls, jump for a wand toy, and run in and out of a tunnel. With patience and dedication Parmesan will learn to like pets without treats and that play time means humans are fun. Parmesan has a healthy appetite which helps because being food motivated means he is able to readily engage.
Parmesan would do best in a quieter, routine home with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Parmesan has shown he can co-exist with other cats.
Parmesan has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Parmesan has an approximate birthdate of 05-29-2024. His adoption fee is $95.
