Bert Muppet - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Meet Bert: Your Future Full-Time Best Friend & Part-Time Tiny Chaos Agent!

Are you looking for a kitten who brings constant joy, endless giggles, and just the right amount of delightful kitten zoomies into your home? Bert is officially submitting his application to be your guy!

At around 10 months old, Bert is right in that magical, goofy kitten stage where everything is exciting, every single toy is the best toy ever, and every person he meets is instantly his new favorite human. He is incredibly confident, curious, and walks into a room like he owns the place, tail straight up in the air, eyes bright, and ready to explore.

Bert absolutely adores people. Hiding? Never heard of it! He will march right up to you demanding chin scratches and affection like it is his full-time job. And honestly, he takes his work very seriously. He will lean into your hand, shadow you around the house, and happily soak up all the love you have to give.

Playtime with Bert is a spectator sport. He is full of silly kitten energy and loves to show it off. He will chase toys with 100 percent commitment, pounce with dramatic flair, and zoom across the room at Mach 5 chasing a dot only he can see. Watching him is guaranteed daily entertainment. He puts his whole heart into having fun, whether he is batting at a feather wand, chasing imaginary dust bunnies, or wrestling with foster siblings. Bert shines bright on his own, but he truly thrives with a buddy to share his big adventures with.

At the end of the day, Bert is just a genuinely happy, outgoing, and deeply affectionate little soul. If you are ready for a kitten who will make you laugh daily, follow you everywhere, and fill your life with fun, Bert is ready to meet you!

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
