Rice is a one-year-old tabby sweetheart with a gentle heart and a lot to say—seriously, this girl has opinions, and she’s not shy about sharing them.

She’s gentle and affectionate, but she needs a little time to settle in and feel safe. Once she does? Her playful, curious personality comes bursting out. She’ll follow you around, investigate everything, and chat your ear off. And when she decides you’re her person, expect the cutest little head bumps asking for pets… and then more pets… and then even more.

Rice gets along with other cats, but in a previous shelter she was pushed around by more dominant kitties. For her confidence (and her happiness!) she’d do best as the only cat, where she can finally shine without being overshadowed.
