Zuri first appeared quietly during the cold winter, stopping by for food while our foster cared for the outdoor cats. He kept his distance at first, watching, waiting, and unsure. Then one day, he took a brave step forward and allowed a gentle touch. Just a few days later, he melted into the foster's arms, his loud purr and soft eyes saying everything words couldn’t - thank you. That was the moment his life changed, he came inside where he’s been ever since.

From the very beginning, Zuri settled in as if he had always belonged. He quickly became a constant companion, happily keeping his foster company as she worked from her home office. He loves perching up high by the second-story window, soaking in the sights of the outside world he once knew.

Zuri is an easy, joyful presence, a great eater, has perfect litter box habits, and prefers to sleep close to his person. He delights in chasing wand toys and has a playful and curious spirit. He’s especially fond of the other cats in the home and has formed a sweet friendship with another teen cat foster who arrived around the same time.

Zuri is truly the best of both worlds: playful and affectionate, independent, yet devoted. He’s embraced the comfort and safety of indoor life and is ready to share that same love and companionship with a forever family.

Zuri is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and fiv/felv tested negative. Dogs unknown, meet-n-greet required.
