Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

***Gravy is happy to be a sidekick for another friendly, confident cat. His sister, the super easygoing Freckles, would be the perfect ringleader!

Gravy is a sweet, quiet boy with a strong head butt as his affectionate display of choice. He’s a little more reserved than his sister Freckles, but once he’s comfortable, he’s very affectionate. He’ll come out on his own terms, purring and looking for pets.

He likes to take things in at his own pace. One of his favourite pastimes is sitting by the window (or other high up perches) and watching the world go by — birds, people, whatever catches his eye.

When it’s time to play, Gravy really enjoys a laser pointer. He’ll chase it across the room, skid around corners, and look confused when it disappears!

Like his sister, he loves being brushed and will purr through the whole session. Treats and wet food help him warm up, especially Churus, and once he trusts you, he’s generous with his affection.

Gravy is well-behaved, quiet, and great with his litter box and scratching habits. He’s looking for a patient home where he can settle in at his own speed, ideally with his sister Freckles.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
