***Conrad is a good-natured cat, easygoing and affectionate once he adjusts to new spaces. He loves his people and cannot be without human soulmates. It is not clear how he would be with other cats, but because of his gentle temperament, he may accept another calm and friendly cat as a companion after appropriate intervals.
Conrad was found as a stray in rather rough shape. His paw was split and he was covered in wounds. No one knows what happened out there while he was trying to keep himself alive. Thankfully, with timely medical help, he recovered completely and have put his checkered past behind him.
Meet Conrad, a 3-year-old male cat with a fluffy grey and white tabby coat and a calm, affectionate personality. Conrad can be a little shy when first introduced to a new environment, but he warms up quickly, especially when treats are on the offer! Highly motivated by food, Conrad will consider you his best friend and jump on your lap within an hour of meeting you if you give him his favourites (Temptations, Fancy Feasts, etc.).
Once settled, Conrad is extremely loving and enjoys being close to people. He will often sit beside you while you work or relax, and he especially enjoys quiet companionship. At night, he prefers to sleep near his humans, and curls up close to purr contentedly.
During the day, he enjoys lounging by a window and watching the outdoors. He does not display any aggressive behaviours and has never hissed. He has excellent litter habits and is perfectly house-trained. Conrad can be picked up once he is comfortable and will relax in your arms if he trusts you.
In terms of diet, Conrad prefers wet food, particularly pâté-style options such as Whiskas or Fancy Feast. Dry kibbles tend to upset his stomach, so a wet food-based diet is recommended, which is better for his hydration and urinary health as well.
Overall, Conrad is a gentle, easygoing, and highly affectionate cat who would do well in a calm, stable home where he can build a strong bond with his caregivers.
