Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

David Rose has a grand goal to move out of the motel in Schitt's Creek and head home, permanently! He has had enough of temporary motel (foster) living and yearns for the life he knows he deserves. While he won't want to admit it, David thrives having other cats around. He needs their love and affection to know he's safe. He is absolutely in love with Moira; but when someone serenades him, his world opens up.

David of course is known for his high end fashion and wears his artistic tabby swirls with pride! He knows his adorable face is irresistible with his perfect M, stunning stripes and cinnamon nose. David needs a home where he can show off his bold fashion, permanently. He was found with his family, a whole colony, living outside in a junkyard during one of the coldest winters New England has seen in quite a few years. Luckily, he was saved from the life of drudgery that just isn't him. Unfortunately David is quite cautious from this ordeal and would do best in a home with older, respectful children or adults only.

As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive. They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc). Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. David Rose absolutely needs a friendly feline companion.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
