Maeve is a beautiful adult brown tabby who is normally long-haired, though she’s currently growing her coat back in after a recent shave. Even now, her soft features and expressive personality shine, and she’s sure to become a fluffy beauty again.

She’s a quiet, independent girl who enjoys affection on her own terms. Maeve doesn’t seek much attention during the day, but at night she has a sweet routine of climbing into your lap to make biscuits and snuggle. She can be a bit quirky — sometimes acting shy if you return after stepping away — but she quickly leans back into pets.

Maeve has a confident, “girl-power” side, especially at mealtime, but spends most of her day relaxing in her favorite cozy spots. She enjoys her tower circle toy and even entertains herself batting at her reflection in the mirror.

She tolerates other cats but doesn’t seek them out, and may do best as an only cat or with a very calm companion. She prefers a quiet, low-key environment, so a home without children would be ideal. She is indoor-only, as her own preference shows no interest in going outside, and has no known experience with dogs.

Maeve will need a patient, understanding home that allows her time to settle in and build trust. For someone who appreciates a calm, slightly quirky companion with soft, snuggly moments, Maeve will be a truly special addition.
