đŸ Meet Koko & Oliver â A Bonded Pair of Lovebugs đŸ
Hi, weâre Koko and Oliverâan 8-year-old brother and sister duo who are looking for our forever home together. Life changed so quickly when we lost the only home weâd ever known. Our mom loved us dearly, but when she lost her home, she could no longer afford to care for us. Through no fault of our own, we found ourselves at Animal Rescue Foundationâconfused, scared, and unsure of what would happen next.
âš About Us
Oliver is a handsome black-and-white boy with the sweetest soul. He has a condition called megacolon, which means he needs a special prescription diet of wet and dry food to help keep his digestion on track. He is also taking daily medications and supplements for his megacolon in addition to the prescription food diet, and he is thriving now that he's getting the right balance of food and medication from our vets. He's a very good boy about taking his medication and it can be easily administered by his owner. Since arriving at ARF, heâs been doing wonderfully with no issues at all! To help with his future care, Oliver also comes with a small medical dowry collected by the shelter to support any medical needs. Donât worryâweâll give you all the details if youâd like to learn more.
Koko is Oliverâs beautiful sister and his constant companion. Sheâs gentle, affectionate, and always ready to curl up in a lap or ask for attention.
Both of us are cuddle bugs who adore human interaction. We especially love squeeze-up treats, lap time, and soaking up as much affection as youâre willing to give.
đ Our Dream Home
Weâve spent our whole lives together and canât imagine being apart, so we must be adopted as a bonded pair. What weâre really dreaming of is a calm, loving home where we can feel safe againâmaybe with a homebody, someone retired, or even someone who works from home who can give us the time, love, and stability we deserve.
Weâd prefer to be your only pets, we can't help it, we just like getting all the attention and don't want to share you with other furry competitors- we love greeting nice humans though and would like to meet all your friends and family!.
If youâre looking for two sweet companions who will fill your home with love, warmth, and plenty of cuddles, look no furtherâKoko and Oliver are your perfect pair.

Some very important things you should know when applying:
Adoption fees for young adult and adult cats are $250 ($265 if microchipped).
What our adoption fees include:
Adult cats have received a wellness exam, fecal exams to test for intestinal parasites, treated for any known/existing conditions to bring them back to health, SNAP tested for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and Heartworm. They have also received flea/tick preventative, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on both their distemper and rabies vaccinations.
For all applicants:
Our volunteers do our very best to match an animalâs needs with that of the familyâs needs and desires. In an effort to be transparent, please note that we just donât know how our individual animals, many who have been through prior stress or trauma before arriving at our shelter, will react around young children who are still learning what it means to respect an animalsâ boundaries. We are happy to have a beneficial discussion about safety between children and pets. Applicants and their family members arriving for meet and greets will be asked to sign a liability waiver upon arrival and prior to meeting our animals. Please also expect to have at least 2 visits as part of the adoption process at our shelter- one for the initial meet and greet, and one for the adoption appointment if a match is made. Itâs important to us that we are properly matching animals to adopters, preparing our adopters for their special adoption day, and for a lifetime of happy pet ownership with your adopted pet.
Please double check your application for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting it to us. Please be as thorough as possible when answering application questions as the more you elaborate, the more information we have to consider, the more likely we are to have a full picture of the care, support, and love our cats/kittens will receive for their adopted lifetime and your particular application will be at the top of our mind when placing cats/kittens in their chosen forever homes.
You can complete an application at ARFCT.org and submit it to our email at arfct.adoptions@gmail.com
