Chloe comes all the way from Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic where many animals are mistreated or left to survive on harsh streets. We rescue them and fly them to the United States so they can finally experience safety, care, and the bright future they deserve.
Chloe’s past remains unclear. We do not know whether she was born on the streets or abandoned by a previous owner. She was still a kitten when she was found severely emaciated, neglected, and with a slight head tilt. Upon rescue, Chloe was immediately taken to the vet because she was extremely debilitated and fighting severe viral infections.
Chloe fought hard — and she survived. She is now an incredibly resilient and intelligent cat who gets along well with other cats. She would thrive in a home with feline companions but could also do well as a solo pet. She does not do well with dogs.
Her head tilt does not mean she belongs in a shelter for life — quite the opposite. It is part of her unique charm and story. Chloe is healthy, though she has a chronic ear condition that will require lifelong management and attention.
This gentle and extraordinary girl now has the chance to say goodbye to shelter life. We are looking for a loving family willing to give her the most comfortable life possible, filled with patience, care, and love.
She is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption.
