DESCRIPTION
Hey everyone! My name is Garnette! I'm named after the semi-precious stone garnet, but believe me, I am TOTALLY precious (nothing semi about me!). SOCA saved me and my 4 babies from a Houston homeless encampment and although I liked all the homeless people, I was SO GLAD for my little family to get somewhere warm and dry. I have learned to LOVE being a house cat. I stroll around the house, inspecting my domain. Then I check on the humans to make sure they are behaving and loll around on the floor so they will notice that I need to be petted. I'm not much older than a kitten myself, so I love to play and I think catnip toys are the bomb! At my foster home there were a bunch of other cats and some dogs. I liked some of the cats and hated some of the cats, I'm not sure why. I was NOT fond of the dogs, who seemed very scary to me. I am what is called a Flame Point Siamese mix, which means I have beautiful cream colored fur with orange on my face, ears and tail (you can google flame points and see what I mean). My adoption fee is $150 and I hope to find my forever home soon.
