I was rescued from life outdoors near a busy turnpike, where I learned to survive in less-than-kind conditions. When I first arrived in foster care, I was nervous and unsure, but with time, patience, and safety, my true personality has begun to bloom. I’m a thoughtful, observant girl. I love to talk, and will happily greet my foster family when they enter the room, making sure they know I’m there. I enjoy affection and closeness, though I’m still learning my limits; I do best with gentle, short bursts of physical affection before I need a moment to reset. Even then, I always want to be nearby, keeping watch, keeping company, and slowly building trust. I get along fine with my foster siblings, but I’d also be perfectly content as an only cat where I can soak up calm attention at my own pace. I haven’t met dogs or small children yet.
