Mirelda prefers affection on her own terms, but don’t let that fool you. She truly enjoys love and attention, especially ear scratches. She’s a true sweetheart who will happily soak up affection when she feels comfortable, often leaning in for those soft, comforting pets.

While she isn’t a fan of being picked up or held, Mirelda loves peaceful companionship and simply being near her people. She’s the kind of cat who will choose you in her own time, making her affection feel extra special.

This lovely girl was a devoted mom to four babies and took wonderful care of them, showing just how nurturing she is. Now that her motherhood days are behind her, Mirelda is ready to relax and be cared for.

She enjoys mealtime, lounging in cozy spots, and living a calm, laid-back lifestyle. Mirelda would thrive in a quiet home where her boundaries are respected and she can settle in at her own pace.

With a little patience and understanding, Mirelda will reward you with her sweet presence and gentle affection. She’s ready for her next chapter: a peaceful life full of comfort, love, and well-deserved rest.

***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. 

Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. 

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.

Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and  flea/tick prevention.
