Ragdoll Cats Available for Adoption

Lulu has been a cherished member of her family for 8 years. With a heavy heart, her family is seeking assistance rehoming sweet Lulu as the young child in the home has allergies that are too significant to manage.

Lulu is a typical ragdoll – friendly, calm, playful, curious. She can be picked up, petted, and loves affection. She will sit near her humans as she likes to be nearby on a bed or the couch. She sometimes will sleep with you on the bed (so this would be a welcome option for Lulu) or will find her own space in the home for her long cat naps.

She loves to play with her humans with wand toys, laser pointers and self-play toys. She may get up in the night, but keeps herself entertained and is relatively quiet.

She is currently eating PurinaOne kibble and enjoys her Greenies treats.

She is really good about getting her nails trimmed: all four paws at once! She tolerates being brushed and is good at keeping herself clean. Lulu has good litter box manners and is currently using crystal litter in an automated box as she loves a pristine box; she has used a regular litter box with clay litter in the past.

She is an international traveller, so tolerate the cat carrier well for short or long visits and it does not seem to overly stress her.

Lulu is good with children, but she has not been exposed to other cats or dogs. Overall, she is an easy going and really lovely kitty!

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

These large, sturdy cats have a distinct color point coat pattern, but come in various colors and patterns. Ragdolls are known to go limp when held, hence their name, making them easy to handle and ideal for those seeking a loving and laid back feline companion.
