Ragdoll Cats Available for Adoption

Introducing Baby Boy:

Baby Boy is a stunning 2 1/2-year-old blue bi-color Ragdoll, purebred. He is still growing out his coat from a reaction to fleas that he had when he was dumped outside before he came to Merlin’s Hope.

Baby boy is a sweet boy, but he is on the shy side and will need some work.

He needs the following:
*quiet home
*no small children
*experienced cat owner

Baby boy does not have to go home with another cat or be adopted with another cat. He is fine with other cats, but he would be equally fine alone. However, he does have a tendency to hide and will need to be integrated into the home slow slowly and carefully.

He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $450.

Merlin’s Hope does not provide transportation. All adopters must come to the (Foster) home to pick up the cat for adoption.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue
is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

The Ragdoll cat breed is celebrated for its gentle nature, striking blue eyes, and semi long fur that requires minimal grooming. Known for their docile personalities, Ragdolls are affectionate and enjoy companionship, making them great family pets. These large, sturdy cats have a distinct color point coat pattern, but come in various colors and patterns. Ragdolls are known to go limp when held, hence their name, making them easy to handle and ideal for those seeking a loving and laid back feline companion.
