Meet Artemis

Artemis is a 7 1/2 year-old seal Mitted Ragdoll female, purebred. Artemis was a show cat and boy doesn’t she know it. She poses beautifully for pictures.

She gets along well with other cats, but would do better in a quieter home with no other cats. She is a loving, affectionate, cuddly cat, who just needs a good home to spend the rest of her life.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue
is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

The Ragdoll cat breed is celebrated for its gentle nature, striking blue eyes, and semi long fur that requires minimal grooming. Known for their docile personalities, Ragdolls are affectionate and enjoy companionship, making them great family pets. These large, sturdy cats have a distinct color point coat pattern, but come in various colors and patterns. Ragdolls are known to go limp when held, hence their name, making them easy to handle and ideal for those seeking a loving and laid back feline companion.
