Meet Sophie
To put it simply, Sophie is the ultimate LOVE BUG. If you’re looking for a high-energy kitty who wants to spend all day chasing feather wands or pouncing on stuffed mice, that’s just not Sophie's jam—she’s far too sophisticated for all that commotion.

Instead, Sophie’s true love language is undivided, one-on-one attention from her favorite human. She is the definition of content, perfectly happy to spend her hours curled up on your lap or nestled right beside you on the couch. There is nothing she loves more than a brush gliding through her long, luxurious fur or a gentle, well-placed scratch right behind her ears—she’ll even start making those adorable "air biscuits" as she purrs away in pure bliss.

And, because she is a true connoisseur of affection, she certainly isn't shy about asking for more. When she decides that a little more love is in order, she’ll gently nudge you with the sweetest head bumps or offer a soft, tiny nose boop as a reminder that she’s ready for her next round of pets. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.

The Ragdoll cat breed is celebrated for its gentle nature, striking blue eyes, and semi long fur that requires minimal grooming. Known for their docile personalities, Ragdolls are affectionate and enjoy companionship, making them great family pets. These large, sturdy cats have a distinct color point coat pattern, but come in various colors and patterns. Ragdolls are known to go limp when held, hence their name, making them easy to handle and ideal for those seeking a loving and laid back feline companion.
