4-year-old, Purerbred Maine Coon, female spayed, silver and black tabby with claws, green eyes, eleven pounds.

GETTING TO KNOW ME
Fauna is a darling, super sweet Maine Coon who is gentle and warm. Currently is a lion-cut and It will be awe inspiring to watch her coat grow out to its natural and luxurious form. As it grows out, it will be important to establish a soft touch grooming protocol. She will need grooming regularly once as it grows out, so start early and easy.

Fauna loves nothing more than being on your lap and burying her face into yours. Her motor never stops. She enjoys playing, gazing out the window and perching herself at heights to watch over the activity around her. Just be prepared when she launches herself from the top of a cat tower into your lap. She LOVES making biscuits while settling into your lap too. She is such a love. She has been on her foster mom’s lap with her paw wrapped around foster mom’s arm during the entire time this was being written.

Fauna is a lover, not a fighter. She does well with other cats and has reportedly lived with dogs and kids. We believe that a respectful environment with others should be fine. But with any new animal starting off in a safe space with plenty of time to acclimate is critical.

Fauna is perfect with her litterbox. (REMEMBER-Maine Coons need extra large litterboxes. No covers.) She uses unscented clumping litter. She loves eating her Honest Kitchen, a dehydrated

High-grade food. Wet food would be best for her mouth but many cats without teeth will swallow kibble whole. We would recommend staying with the Honest Kitchen. We recommend schedule feeding since she really enjoys eating and does not need to become overweight. Eating is her second favorite thing only topped by snuggling in a lap.


VETTING PROVIDED
To ensure ultimate health, Fauna has been examined, been spayed, had a full blood panel, tested negative for FELV/FIV, received rabies and FVRCP vaccines, dental with extractions. She is microchipped. Records are provided upon completion of the adoption.

Fostered in OSHKOSH, Wisconsin

Fauna’s adoption fee is $400.
