This sweet, fluffy orange and white boy is looking for a calm, loving home. He was adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned through no fault of his own after his owner lost her housing and could not keep him. Understandably, he’s still adjusting to the shelter environment.
He is a quiet, shy guy who truly blossoms with gentle affection. Once he trusts you, he loves being petted and will softly bonk your hand to ask for more. He feels safest napping in small, cozy spaces like cubbies, where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace.
He would do best in a quiet home without young children, where he can settle in and feel secure. He previously had his teeth removed due to a mouth issue, but this doesn’t slow him down at all—he eats both wet and dry food just fine.
With patience, kindness, and a peaceful environment, this gentle boy will make a wonderful, loving companion

- Benjamin is shown as a Maine Coon Mix based solely on his appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies.
