Meet the most wonderful Wrigley

Wrigley is an amazing red with white mitten, domestic medium hair/Maine coon cat. He is the sweetest cat with the sweetest personality.
He was brought to Merlin’s hope because he was aggressive, but we have not seen any of that aggression in his foster home. He gets along very well with other cats, although he would be fine as an only cat. He is only one and a half years old. He loves to follow you around everywhere you go, he talks to you incessantly, and he loves to hang out with you while you’re watching TV.

Because we were told he was aggressive that we have not seen any signs of aggression in him to human or to cats, we are looking for a home with no small children, and preferably with experienced cat people.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
