If we had a dollar for every time we get asked that when we post a fluffy cat, we could probably fund an entire spay and neuter clinic.
The truth is, we rarely know the genetics of our cats. That said, we are pretty confident Chonkers has some Maine Coon somewhere in his DNA. We cannot legally, scientifically, or spiritually guarantee it. But have you seen this guy?
Chonkers is four months old and weighs 7 pounds. Seven! At four months. His paws are enormous.
When he walks across the room, you don’t hear footsteps. You hear impact.
We’re fairly certain if he high-fives you, you’ll need to ice your hand.
He is a little nervous right now. The world is big. Ironically, he is bigger. But once he settles in, he loves to cuddle and purr like a small, furry generator.
He is going to be the size of a dog. Not a purse dog. A real dog. A dog that uses a litter box and judges you silently.
Maine Coon?
Maybe.
Gigantic?
100%
This guy will go fast.
