Eggs Benedict Cumberbatch is enjoying the journey of life and all the place it's brought him-including to the shelter! Benedict was a repeat but recent visitor to the porch of a good Samaritan who wanted to help him out. He took brief trips indoors during the cold spell and was a sweet and well-mannered fellow during his stay, complete with trying to play under the door with the finder's resident feline. Benedict had an injured eye that should not impact his vision and was repaired surgically. He seems to be an easygoing guy tolerant of handling and a classic enjoyer of head butts.
Due to Benedict's background, we don't know how he feels about living with cats, dogs, or kids, but he has not shown large reactions to other cats around him in the shelter environment since intake. He may open up further in a home setting beyond what he shows us here, but Benedict appears to be a pretty adaptable guy overall! Families looking for a pleasant adult addition may enjoy Eggs Benedict.
