Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only has a cat by their side. Sweet senior Albus was a stray who must've had a hard life before coming to the shelter. He's gained a lot of wisdom through his many years and fine-tuned his preferences in turn. Albus loves people, particularly sitting by their side and tucking his forehead up against their arms. He loves a lively conversation over a soft, wet dinner (and breakfast, and lunch) that's easy on his mouth. And he loves to take a merry jaunt around the room, looking out windows and laying in the sun.
What Albus seems not to enjoy is other cats. Based on behavior in the shelter, we think Albus would prefer to be your one and only feline friend. We aren't sure how he feels about dogs or kids thanks to his stray background. In his time in the shelter, we did find out that Albus if FIV+, which has not and will not stop him from living a good life for his golden years. Like a phoenix, Albus is ready to be reborn as a pampered house cat-all he needs is a family to do it with!
