Nimble is an absolutely adorable little girl with Cerebellar Hyperplasia, or Wobbly Cat Sydrome, who is as fiercely independent as she is affectionate and loving!

Here is a note from Nimble's foster:

"Nimble is our first CH foster and we were admittedly nervous about fostering a "special needs" kitten. As it turns out, our worries were 100% unfounded as Numble has turned out to be the easiest foster we've ever had the pleasure of caring for. She does everything all on her own! Litterbox, eating, climbing - everything! And with a determination and strength of will that is as surprising as it is inspiring. She is also RIDICULOUSLY cuddly. She is 100% a lapcat and will make her way to your lap or into bed with you whenever she is ready for a catnap and cuddles. When we say she is the easiest foster we've had, it's because she doesn't climb stuff she shouldn't the way other kittens her age do. Her zoomies are adorable, but not chaotic like other kittens. Because she flops around, you hear her coming a mile away and she doesn't suddenly appear underfoot. She really is so easy to care for and we are hopeful a loving family will offer her a forever home very soon. Don't be intimidated by her having CH the way we were. It really does only make her more special and easier to care for and love!"

Nimble eats, walks, plays and uses the litterbox 100% on her own, navigating her challenges like a champ and then finding your lap for snuggles and a nap. Nimble is fully independent and does NOT require supervision

Nimble only needs a few simple accommodations to be comfortable, such as a low entry, high sided litterbox to lean against and a single-story home or for stairs to be blocked off to avoid falling.

Kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH / Wobbly Cat Syndrome) wobble and stumble, but the condition is completely painless and non-progressive. CH cats have a normal quality of life and, like Nimble, make up in personality what they lack in motor skills.

In Nimble's case she has mild/moderate CH. She does not have head tremors and her lack of coordination is in her back end only, making it easier for her to get around than many CH kitties with more severe CH.
